There are sooooo many shows having a new season this year, mostly on September, and I feel the need to catch up on them before they resume airing on television.I just finished marathoning one:

THE BIG BANG THEORY

It's a sitcom about the life of two physicists who have a pretty but not-so-intelligent girl that lives next door. I hate Physics but I love nerdy comedy xD Haha! No matter how lame, they crack me up. Even if I don't get many of the physics stuff, it got me amused xD Hehe.

It didn't get me into obsession mode . . . except on Sheldon I guess. He's so damn mean/rude/arrogant yet adorable xD Though this wasn't that addicting to me, it sure was a fun watch! Looking forward to see its next season ^_^

OTHERS:
- I am still catching up on Criminal Minds. A few episodes of season 2 left.
- My next marathon is House . . . just got season 1. If I liked it, I'll be asking for the later seasons xD
- I'm beginning to get interested on Doctor Who. Sheldon even mentioned it in Big Bang. It seems cool. I wish one of my friends has it ^^;
- I was able to borrow One Tree Hill season 2 . . . but no season 1 . . .fantastic . . .I wouldn't understand it x_x I wish I can find someone who has it soon!
- I have a few episodes of Gossip Girl and Kid Nation. I am not sure when I'll be able to check them out.
- I miss CSI. I don't get to watch many episodes of it, but I love Crime stuff. Need to have them soon.
- Oh, there's a new season of Smallville? I tried to like it for the sake of my love for superheroes. . . .but I really . . .can't. Maybe Superman stuff truly isn't my kind of thing.
- What si taking Heroes so long? xD Damn . . . yes, season 2 wasn't that great . . . but I freakin' miss the Petrelli's and the best friends Hiro and Ando =3 Of course Sylar as well xD
- A few other popular/unpopular titles that caught my interest: Lost, Prison Break, Supernaturalist, and Grey's Anatomy
- Are there other interesting tv drama/sitcoms/series, people? xD I wanna watch . . .and watch . . . and watch

- I got interested to a local band called FRIO . . .because if you mix the letters, you can spell out FIRO - who is my number one bishie xD Man, I'm such a fangurl ^^;

- I wanna watch Wanted. Reasons: (1) I love assasins and action stuff (2) I love movies based on comic books (3) I like Angelina Jolie

- I wanna watch The Dark Knight. Reasons: (1) Joker's my favorite villain. (2) I like Christian Bale (3) I LOVE the Joker =3

UPCOMING OR JUST-AIRED ANIME RELATED:
- I have read the manga of Antique Bakery and though there had been gay parts that had quite disturbed me, it still got me entertained xD So I'm certainly downloading its anime version =3 Just saw screenshots, and they were okay. Can't wait for subs xD Also for episode 2! Looking forward to hear more drama-crack with Miyano Mamoru voice from Eiji xD

I freakin' love that duo CHEMISTRY xD Fell in love with their music since I've heard the ED they did for Toward the Terra =3

- I watched the OP of Hidamari Sketch out of curiosity. It was crack . . and cute . . . but still lame. It failed to capture my interest.
- I'm definitely not watching Strike Witches. Geez, what's with the characters not capable of wearing clothes that are longer than panties in this series x_x Stupid fanservice. Sucks.
- I find it disappointing that the new series that got subbed really fast are the ones with so many perverted fanservice -_- Oh well, what;s new to that? x_x
- I just found out that the main character of Kurogane no Linebarrel is gonna be voiced by . . . KAKIHARA TETSUYA . . .O_O . . . I've read the first few chapters of the manga. It wasn't that great, but readable. But even if its anime version will suck (it's coming this Fall), I'm still adding it to my collection because . . .HE'S playing the main character *_* . . . .sadly, I don't actually like the main character . . . but man, I'm very bias to my top favorite seiyuu xD Hehe.

Treize Bain

TREIZE = cute + awesome + heroic + dorky + innocent + charming + adorable + royalty + girl magnet + super nice guy + puppy + blush + in love + motorbike + gun + seret identity + teased + bullied + crack + apron + cool getups + Firo's voice + . . . . there will be more when I get to watch the subs and more episodes.
I find it a nice coincidence that he and Firo have the same voice actor. I can imagine the voice used for Treize will be somethign used for a younger Firo xD Because man, they're so close xD . . . .Oh here I go again with my Firo fantasies =3 Wahehe
But of course he won't replace Firo, but like Firo he got my attention ever since I saw him in the promo pic xD Oh I am happy that he did not disappoint me xD He's not drawn that nice in some scenes, but he's still adorable =3
Thanks to him, I'm gonna start downloading raws of this series, and I have already started with episode 14, where he first appeared xD Mwahahaha! I won't care if the story will suck, he's all that matters xD haha! I also have a liking to his twin sister xD She seems cool. As for Lilia, . . . I don't dislike her. . . . ^^;
Anywayz, I really need to catch up on the previous episodes that I have missed . . . in order to understand the story better ^^;

NEW ANIME
Some impressions after checking out screenshots and OP videos.
>> SEKIREI: stupid perverted fanservice. Nah. And the guy I liked wasn't as cute as he looked in the manga. *sigh*
>> SLAYERS REVOLUTION: it's so colorful . . .attractive to my eyes. And Hayashibara Megumi . . . my goddess Anna Kyouyama's seiyuu. I miss her. I also miss Zelgadiss xD The character that I remembered I liked a lot xD Hehe. But I also remember hating Amelia *sees the girl often with Zel* . . . .uuuggghhh -_-

NEW MANGA
I think it's already a habit of mine to read at least 1 to 4 new manga titles each week ^^;

C.C. is also like bullying/teasing Kallen and her voice is sarcastic yet sexy xD Hehe. What surprised me most was HER EVIL LAUGH! Bwahahahhha!!! It's funnier than Lelouch's! xD Well, she's the queen of crack anywayz xD Haha!
- Just saw Himitsu's latest episode, they changed some parts from the manga x_x I'm disappointed that they removed the crack!!!! -_- But Maki is still love xD Hehe.
- There are new Himitsu scanlated chapters up but they're onyl available on IRC!!! Noooooo!!! I dunno how to downlaod from there ;_;
- If I understood it right, there was a news that Vampire Knight is ending soon but will be having a second part . .. .o_O . . . I am not very sure if I should be happy or not. Because I'm happy if there's more Zero, but not happy of seeing more Yuuki x_x
- Bing Bang Theory is soooooo amusing! Go Nerd crack! Bwahahaha . . . I shall continue my marathon xD

All this Shirley focus reminds me of the Mao arc of last season. Hopefully by episode 15 it'll go Lelouch x C.C. again, just like in season 1 xD Hehe.
- I am pretty disturbed with the idea of V.V. being the emperor's older brother o_O But if that's the case, I wonder if C.C. is still the older one ^^;

Looks like there's going to be a "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Eve of the Movie" event on August 10. Tickets are on sale from June 28 up to August 2. Expected to attend are Kazuki Nakashima and the seiyuu for Simon, Kamina, Yoko, Nia, Boota, Leeron, Rossiu, Viral, and Kittan.The contents of the event will be a talkshow, live performances of the BGM, and others.
They're asking fans to send in scenarios/questions online for the event. 1) "Pierce the Heavens with your Scenario!!" is as follows: "The Gurren Lagann characters attend the "Gurren Academy" on the first day! They come into the classroom late. What excuse do they have?" 2) "Kazuki Nakashima's Question and Answer": Nakashima will be at the event and personally answer questions that will be chosen from what is sent in.
Apparently the TALK LIVE ANIMATED is going to be a series of events?
The first one will be on August 24 (the 2nd link) and be about the Gurren Lagann Parallel Works. They'll start by screening the clips, then have a live commentary and talkshow with the production staff....they're asking people to send in their own independent works based on Gurren Lagann (whether it's live action, 3D, or special effects, doesn't matter as long as it's some kind of video). The Gainax staff will elect some works on their own judgment and they will be screened at the event as "GurrePalla: The Origin." (quote from csakuras)

All I can say is: OHMYGOD I AM SO EXCITED I WISH I CAN SEE IT AND I AM SO DAMN IMPATIENT TO WATCH THE MOVIE xD

FOR SURE Renji will have some part in this. Most likely Byakuya too. Perhaps Shiro-chan as well, since he's popular ^^; And of course, Ichigo . . . he will never lose his spotlight in Bleach.

I wasn't able to connect to the net during the weekends so fandom-wise . . .damn, I had so many to catch up on O_O Of course I was able to catch up on many of them xD But I don't think I have the time to make a usual fandom entry tonight because of the lack of time ^^; And I plan to watch at least an episode of a certain series everyday because I have so many to catch up on x_x For now it's Big Bang Theory. Man, I find it so amusing. Especially Sheldon. He entertains me so xD LOL!

So as I download more stuff, I shall start watching and hopefully be able to catch up on some entries I've missed ^^;

I'm supposed to be out of town today, but my aunt said that we'll go out tomorrow morning instead. So here I am, infront my of my pc as usual, and catching up on stuff I missed ^^;

- (Twilight: pocketbook) I'm now on chapter 15. I think I'll be able to finish this soon, since there are more vampire stuff in recent chapters. I'll type more thoughts about it once I'm finished. Only one thing is veyr very sure: Oh I hate Bella -__- I admit she has some good points, but her bad points are just . . .TOO BAD . . .for me x_x
- (Twilight: movie) I got curious about it and searched for pictures. The cast weren't as beautiful as I've imagined them to be ^^; But most of them are okay. I don't care about Isabella. But as for Edward, in some scenes he looks nice while in some he looks weird x_X But my friends say that he looks hott in all of them . . . .x_X . . . really? Well, he hadn't been that attractive to me when he played Cedric in HP before. Maybe he's just not my type ^^; . . . .so very different form the Edward I had imagined. But oh well, those were the annoying leading lady's descriptions, she might have exagerrated things -_-
Anywayz, I also saw the trailer. I like the effects when Edward does extraordinary stuff. Hehe. It's somewhat like watching a superhero movie. Hehe.
- (TTGL) Saw some pics from the Nia artbook. Oh man they were so beautiful. I wanna see HD scans soon xD
- (Fairy Tail) Read latest chapter. . .another cliffhanger, damn. I want more explanation on Erza's connection to Jeral and Sieg. I want a confirmation of the boys being twins xD Ohohoho!

- (Detective Conan) Anyone else read file 654? Aoyama did it again. Why does Shinichi always need to finish the case before he turns back? It's done for so many times.
- (Beast Master) I think this should have ended at chapter 6, not 7, because the 7th made me hate the leading lady x_x
- (xxxHolic: Kei) WHAT?! It's over????!!! That's it??? . . . . WHAT??!!! . . . . easier to finish downloading . .. but still . . . THAT'S ALL THE WATANUKI I CAN HAVE THIS SEASON???? x_x
- (Himitsu) FINALLY! A MAKI EPISODE! Damn you anime for making me wait more than 10 episodes for his own arc while the manga had given it to me as early as volume 1!!!! xD I downloaded the raw of course =3 And I totally wouldn't miss the next one. More Maki!!!! SQUEEEEE xD
- (Antique Bakery: manga) I was able to find some english manga (only 2 volumes though). It was funny, and the characters have amused me. The story's okay. There were some disturbing mature stuff though (yes, it has something to do with homosexuality, sex, etc.) but no explicit scenes (like what the Junjou Romantica manga did . . . .my god it scared me) ^^; so I am able to tolerate this xD Hehe.
- (Antique Bakery: anime) Miki Shinichiro's gonna voice the homo guy. Lockon voice on an actual gay . . .haha! Interesting! And Miyano Mamoru's voicing Eiji! YAY! He's my favorite character xD And I'm excited to see and hear Eiji's drama poses because of so much sweetness with Miyano Mamoru's voice =3 And whoa! Chemistry's singing the OP/ED themes! I love their music, especially from Toward the Terra's ending. YAY! And I think the studio for this is the same as Honey and Clover's, and Moyashimon's? They were good series. So alright, AB's anime version seems promising ^_^

- I don't download D. Gray-man anime as devotedly as before, but I hurriedly downloaded this one because . . .IT'S A LAVI EPISODE *_* I liked this part in the manga, even though I feel bad on seeing my Lavi being hurt ^^;
- Lavi's such a good guy. He's supposed to be just an observant. But he has become attached to them =3
- Lavi's best buddies are Allen and Kanda xD LOL! The pic in the middle shows it xD Hehe.
- Especially Allen xD Aaaawww . . . I just recalled that his "death" had been a great impact on Lavi xD I didn't remember that he keps the Ace card when Allen was gone though. How touching.

- left this morning, battled against the rain, only to find out that the event was cancelled when I was just a few blocks away from the venue -_-
- made my parents really angry at me for paying my attention to the computer and ignoring them >_>
- I am not doing anything productive x_x Not even my laundry! And with this rain, where am I gonna get my clothes when work resumes x_x

Nice Things:

I have never played this game, but I've read the comics, and I liked it xD The trailer gave me Lord of the Rings vibes, but I doubt it will be as awesome. I've been seeing this manga often in download sites, but I didn't think of reading it because the plot didn't appeal to me. Now I've heard that it's gonna have its anime adaptation next next season, and many are so excited about it, so I thought of checking it out. After 3 chapters . . . I gave it up. For me, it sucks. Yes, the leading girl is a pretty strong character (she was incredibly stupid at first though) and the Ren guy is kinda cool, but overall, it wasn't a fun read for me >_> I don't understand why such a series is so popular >_>

I like medieval stuff xD So of course I checked it out xD It has a unique main character: he's a black guy . . . really rare for a main character in the anime/manga universe. This series reminded me of Code Geass, because two of its characters have the similar names. The little damsel-in-distress is named Nina. The Nina of both series are annoying. Then the sexy fighting female is anmed Euphemia. I like the Euphemias of both *_* It's a coincidence! Seriously!
As for the story, it's set around medieval times and during the witch hunting age. It's one of the series that show the bad images of many priests during those times. Religion was used for money making and power by such greedy and corrupted religious leaders. I like series that tackle issues like the bad side of religion, but this series is pretty atheistic ^^;
I am not sure if I'll read more of this. Only Euphemia and the other guy had really appealed to me so far. Hhhhmmm . . .

- no need to turn on the air conditioner because it's cold enough
- if it's strong and reaches signal number 2, it means no classes.
- taking a bath in the rain is fun xD I've tried it when I was a kid. Haha

- free watering for the plants

Things I hate about the rain:
- oftentimes causes brownouts/blackouts . . . no electricity sucks
- hard to walk on floods . . .and who knows what might be in that flood x_x
- many various diseases it can cause
- a hassle to open the umbrella
- really difficult to commute/travel . . .even with a car
- you get wet unprepared . . . and wet socks suck . . . and being wet in a dry cold environment all of a sudden makes one feel like he/she is freezing to death. Happened to me once during an exam. It sucks.
- harder to see . . . glasses get wet
- usually heavier traffic . . . unless it's early morning or a typhoon

Conclusion: It's not that I hate the rain, but its negative effects in my life is begging it to be hated by me >_>

Suddenly felt like talking abotu the rain because I planned to go somewhere this morning, and it rained . .. hard. Then I was only informed that the event was cancelled when I was already just a few blocks away from the venue. Oh so fantastic. >_>

OFF-TOPIC: I wonder if the malls are open in this rain . . . it's not as strong as thing morning though. But anywayz, dadz suddenly invited me to watch Get Smart o_O He's usually the one against me watching movies . . .because they're so expensive. THen all of a sudden he says this. He had done this many times before, but it never happened >_> So I don't know if I'll believe him. But he says that he used to love the Get Smart series o_o . . .there might be a chance ^^: I dunno.

Summer 2008 Anime Initial Impressions

Wow! Time flies so fast that I didn't notice that the anime of the new season has already arrived ^^; Some already aired, but haven't watched any of them in sub yet, so here are my initial impressions:

SPRING 2008 ANIME TOP 20

CHECKING OUT:
1. Natsume Yuujinchou
I'm a sucker for series that deal with spirits so of course it's a must-see for me xD I've read the few chapters of the manga, and even if I get bored with spirit-of-the-episode type of shows, it got me hooked xD I hope there are more interesting characters aside from Natsume and the cat. That will make the story in this show much interesting ^_^
Brains Base is working on it; like Baccano. I think the director's the same as well. And oh that art style! Natsume's got Chane's eyes (only less eyelashes) and Firo's hottness *_* I'm getting Baccano vibes in this series all thanks to those xD OMG! Will this be the Baccano in terms of awesomeness of 2008? xD
Also, Kazuhiko Inoue's in the cast voicing as the cat! Oh I can already expect ncie comedy from this ^_^
I have high expectations on this xD I'm not anticipating this to reach Baccano level, but I sure hope it'll be as awesome or more awesome than I expect it to be =3
2. World Destruction
Oh, another RPG-anime series. I'm worried that it might disappoint me like Druaga had, but the art here is more appealing to me and not to mention . . .THE CAST!!! Yoshino Hiroyuki, Miyano Mamoru, Maaya Sakamoto, Daisuke Ono . . . .wonderful cast *_* And it's by Production I.G. I think. That studio hadn't given me a series that made my brains crack for so much lameness yet, hehe. I'm giving this a try ^_^
3. Chocolate Underground
If we had banned books with Library Wars in the previous season, now we have chocolate banning! The story caught my interest. The characters didn't appeal to me that much at first impression, but we'll see. I think it already aired. Hopefully a sub will be up soon.
4. Yakushiji Ryoko no Kaiki Jikenbo
detective + supernatural . . . . and the art's nice . . . enough to make me interested to watch it xD It's sad that there are more gals than guys there though ^^; For me, crime stuff is more interesting with guys. Hehe.
5. Blade of the Immortal
Read some pages of the first chapter (not yet done reading) and it seems okay. Not to my tastes though. The idea of an immortal desiring to be mortal isn't really something new to me. But I love supernatural samurai action so . . .giving this a shot ^_^
6. Telepathy Shoujo Ran
I love telepathy stuff! This series gives me True Tears vibes for some reason ^^; Well, a slice of life series with a mix of extraordinary powers stuff is enough reason for me to check this out xD I've seen the OP and some spoiler screenshots . . . it looks okay . . . and I have a feeling I'm gonna hate the leading girl >_>
7. Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo
I love the first season! But the second one sucked. Hopefully the third will make up for it.
8. Ultraviolet: Code044
Never seen the movie . . . but I like vampire action stuff. I wonder why they made a hollywood movie into an anime . . . was it popular? x_x Oh well, we'll see.

HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS:
9. Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora
The plot bored me . . . but it had magic stuff, so am giving it a chance I guess. The art from the manga seemed pretty, but for some reason it gives me Sketchbook ~Full Colors~ Vibes o_O That series bored me to hell . .. and I have a feeling that it might do the same ;_;
10. Slayers Revolution
I used to watch Slayers, but I don't get to watch many episodes of it ^^; I don't remember the story at all ^^; There had been characters that I liked from this series, but I can't remember why I liked them ^^; SO I am not sure if I can watch this new season x_x unless it is designed that can have non-viewers of the original to be able to relate ^^;
11. Antique Bakery
shounen-ai + bakery??? x_X I dunno . .. unless it has nice comedy. And Miyano Mamoru and Miki Shinichirou are part of the main cast. Hmmm . .. I dunno ^^: I guess I'll check out the manga first. . . which is difficult to find x_x
12. Sekirei
boobs . . . panties . . .legs . . . . babes who beg for hentai . . . yeah . . . total fanservice that happened to have some fights and supernatural/fantasy stuff. The leading guy's also a total loser x_x Oh I hate this kind of series, but it happened to have 2 nice looking bishies *_* . . .I dunno ;_;
13. Birdy the Mighty Decode
Honestly, I find its premise really stupid . . . and when I read the manga, it was so lame that I wanted to give up on chapter 1 but gave it a chance so I tried the next one, but it's really not my thing. The main characters didn't appeal me either: guy = loser (he's also somewhat of a nerd, nerds are okay, but his type drives me insane. He's studying math!!! x_X); girl = fanservice material that can fight. HOWEVER, it's the same studio that did Oofuri and the director did popular series like Escaflowne. Oh I dunno x_x

CAN'T WATCH:
14. Neo Angelique Abyss: Second Age
Not yet done with the first season ^^; And I don't know if I'll even finish it ^^; BUT WAIT, a series like this got a second season instead of other mega awesome series out there??? What's wrong with them??!!! ;_;
15. Hidamari Sketch x 365
Never seen Hidamari Sketch. It seems boring anywayz. Even if I like art stuff. So nah.
16. Mission-E
Never considered watching Code E. So the same with this one.

TOTALLY REJECTED:
17. Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu
A school idol having a secret and secrets as stupid as being an otaku (not being an otaku is stupid, only the secret of being one is) is sooooo damn overused. And it looks like a harem show with a lame story. Nah.
18. Strike Witches TV
Gonzo + meha + girls . . . reminds me of Sky Girls (is SG by Gonzo? Dunno) . . .. not my type. I prefer guys in mecha (there are exceptions of course, like Rei of Evangelion).
19. Koihime Musou
The art is nice, but it also seems to be very fanservicey x_x I don't think I'll like that
20. Ikkitousen: Great Guardians
I don't like watching the new seasons without seeing the original, but I still checked out the spoiler screenshots of this. Very fanservicey and story seems lame. Nah.

Movie, Pocketbook, Anime, & Manga

I've finally seen the Incredible Hulk. I love Marvel-comic based movies =3 And this one is great like the other ones xD Hehe.
Is it just me or The Hulk himself/itself is pretty . . .cute/good-looking? *_* Much cuter than the main character =3
I'm more used to Eric Bana as the normal human version of the Hulk than this one *forgot actor's name* but he's okay ^_^ His voice is incredibly familiar though . . . .I can't remember from where x_x
Up next is Urduja (our of curiosity), Batman (The Joker's my favorite villain), and THE MUMMY!!! Saw the trailer from watching a movie this morning and OMG I AM SO EXCITED xD

- Spoiled myself a bit on Chronicles of Narnia books 5-7 (ones I haven't read). The only one who mattered to me there is Edmund xD And I'm happy he's in two of them xD Ohoho! And to those who have read those books, is Eustache a cool character? I have no idea what kind of person he is, but he seems interesting =3
- I'm now in chapter 10 of Twilight (I don't read it everyday ^^;) and oh man . . .it's totally official . . .I HATE BELLA aka leading lady! And the fact that she's the one narrating the novel doesn't help!!!! x_x Seriously, this book could have been one of the worst ones ever written if it weren't for the vampires and werewolf stuff! >_> But oh well, I'm not yet done with it so I can't say it's my final thoughts on this popular book ^^;

Some Spring 2008 shows are over or almost over now O_O Like Kurenai, Tower of Druaga, and Crystal Blaze. Man, I'm not yet even done with some Winter 2008 and Fall 2007 shows x_x oh my . . .so many to marathon ^^:
I've been checking out some entries and trailers on some Summer 2008 anime shows. Disappointingly, it's not as great as Spring 2008 or even Summer 2007. I had high expectation on this season because it brought me the likes of Baccano, Zombie-Loan and Zetsubou Sensei xD But . . .oh well ^^;

Just read latest scanlations of DOGS, D. Gray-man, Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, and 07-Ghost Supreme Sugar. They were love xD Especially the last one. It's clearly seen in my previous entry xD Hehe. The comedy part made me ROFL a lot xD Frau . . as a mom? LOL! And yay for Mikage being with Hakuren and Teito =3 I wish that will be reality *_*
I've also seen the scanlation of SlamDunk 10 days after (the ending). Art seems rushed x_X I didn't understand what's going on since I only know of the anime and some spoilers of the manga ^^; but nice to see Sendoh again =3
I like sports anime, and found another basketball one called Dogashi Kaden
It's somewhat like Eyeshield21 because the main guy is a loser who has extraordinary speed, which is useful in the sport. But the story's different . . .the end of chapter one made me worry that it might be an extremely perverted anime, but the succeeding chapters proved me wrong ^^; *phew*
One character caught my interest:

I forgot his name (Shidou I think) and I find him cute xD And he's an excellent player among his freshmen peers ^_^ I just hope he's not another Rukawa ^^; I like tsunderes but I'm getting tired on the Rukawa and Sasuke types ^^;

I was going emo minutes ago because of this very depressing week . . . but now I'm crying for a different reason:

the previous story was comedy though, I'll talk about it next time. I've actually seen this (official) doujinshi before, in raw with translations . . . but it's still different when you get to read them in scanlation xD (though the raw + texttranslation version also made me teary ;_;) baaaaaaaaaawwww ;_;

New Manga Again xD

I just realized that my week isn't complete without reading new manga xD Hehe.

Well, I've seen entries on Summer 2008 previews. Will be making an entry with my own impressions someday. I've checked out one of the upcoming series coming next month:

>> SEKIREI
Leading guy sucks. Leading girl is fanservice material. And why twin girls, not twin boys? xD Lol. Story seems to have potential, but so far it's lame. But take note I've only read chapter 1 ^^; And oh, what I hate here the most is the many unecessary ecchi fanservice x_x Geez. Can such things actually happen in real life? x_x And I think majority of the characters are some sexy females. Harem + ecchi is totally not my thing >_>
However, there are two things that had caught my interest: (1) The CEO guy . . . he's evil . . .in a Komui from D. Gray-man level, and he's also amusing . . . in a Cross from Vampire Knight level. I like that xD Hehe. (2) THIS GUY:

WHOEVER HE IS, HE'S SUCH A HOTTIE *_*

Now, for other new manga that I checked out:
>> FREEZING

Another obvious ecchi fanservice series (not as explicit as Sekirei though) and it also seems to be harem with a loser main guy at the center of it x_x
I like the supernatural stuff though. . . women with powers fighting wit weapons. Pandora thing. and many more.
I've only read chapter 1 but I'm not appreciating how the story is progressing so far >_> And please, I've had enough with the badly-injured-person-becoming-super-powerful-when-loved-one-is-hurt x_x The romance bit is also lame.
Oh I don't know. It may not really be that bad, but I didn't like it >_>
I am not sure if I would be reading more of this. It's actually better than Sekirei in terms of story development on its first chapter in my opinion, but the characters here are just so . . . ."ugh"

>> LOST+BRAIN

So this is the Death Note wannabe series that I've been hearing about before. If I compare the story of the two series, Death Note is much better. But the hypnoticism stuff of Lost+Brain is pretty interesting and cool.
As for the main characters, Raito >>>>>>>> (to infinity power) Hiyama. They actually have similar goals, and that is: to recreate a new world by destroying the current one. Both of them are pissed with the no-good people in present society. Both of them want to change the chaotic world. They wanted power. They see other people as merely tools. They wanted to be like gods that will determine what's good for this world and not. And not to mention that both of them are geniuses and excel in many areas.
BUT they have differences, like: Raito wanted to exterminate the bad ones and maintain those who he sees as okay; while Hiyama wants to control literally everybody. Raito was more after justice; while Hiyama just wants to get rid of people other than himself. Raito only became extremely evil and heartless when he got the power; while Hiayama had been like that since the very beginning ^^; And their greatest difference is: Raito is hell cuter than Hiyama xD Ohohohoho!!!! I also love it when Raito makes Ryuu do what he wants by treating the shinigami some apples xD LOL!
As for the girls who are in love with those leading guys . . .both of them are pathetic losers x_x The leading girl of Lost+Brian was more pathetic though, because even though she was blatantly and rudely rejected, she still flirts with him x_x Misa's better with her goth style and cute approach in flirting . . . and she also makes herself useful. Both are idiots, but I have to admit that Misa's a bit more decent that that girl x_x
Lost+Brain is totally nothing compare to Death Note . . . but all these philosophical and hypnoticism stuff interest me . . . .and who knows, it might also have a character like L?! xD If ever that happens, I HIGHLY DOUBT that that character will eb any better than L. But we'll see ^_^

>> TENJOU NO KAIJUTSU

The idea of a girl hating guys is nice but this series made such a girl change her mind too quickly and they became canon in just one chapter x_X What the heck?! Honestly, for me, it's too fast x_x For a guy hater for more than 5 years, she falls in love that fast???!! Oh geez to that kind of transformation. It didn't impress me. The root of that hatred was lame. Just because she was bullied like that? Her way of showing her hatred didn't impact me either x_x
Conclusion: Leading girl sucks.
As for the leading guy, he's so-so. At first I thought he looked similar to Johanne from Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen . . . but nah, Johanne's hotter xD
And what's with the fast pairings between the presidents and vice presidents of those schools? Romance development was just too fast. Yes, there had been reasons how they fell in love, but it was really too sudden. x_x
In other words, I don't feel the romance >_>
But I admit that I'm amused with the other couple: Girl-who-looks-like-a-guy X Guy-who-looks-like-a-girl xD Hahaha! I've seen a pair like that in W-Juliet, but Hikaru and Todou look much cuter xD Hehe. But I still find it awkward when they do romantic stuff though . . .because Todou's just too tall ^^; Poor Hikaru xD
And yes, I find Hikaru adorable . . .. both as a guy and in crossdressing xD LOL!
Another interesting thing in this series: Todou's family (her father and brothers) are hosts! As in hosts like hosts in Ouran Host Club! Oh man, I like it when something reminds me of Ouran xD Hehe.
Overall, it's not a fantastic series but it's pretty enjoyable ^_^
